Almeria From arid desert to virgin white beaches; from wooded uplands to rocky
outcrops; a landscape dotted with white-washed farmhouses and charming
fishing villages, the province of Almeria leaves a lasting impression.
Almeria offers an authentic flavour of historic Andalucia, with its rich and
varied heritage, including the Alcazaba, the largest Moorish fortress built
in Spain, the Gothic Cathedral and its Bull Ring.
The most stunning aspect of Almeria is its deserted beaches, the best of
which are located in the extreme south-east of the province. Of particular
interest is the rugged peninsula of El Cabo de Gata and its Natural Park,
