The apartment sits in the very heart of the Barrio de las Letras, which takes its name from its fascinating cultured and literary past. A number of famous writers have lived in the area including Quevedo, who actually completed many of his masterpieces in the building next door to the apartment. Barrio de las Letras is a mix of peaceful, narrow lanes and more lively streets, including the pedestrianized Calle Huertas, which comes alive at weekends with shoppers and diners. Guests are well placed to explore the rest of the city, with the vibrant Plaza Santa Ana and Puerta del Sol within walking distance. The “Big Three” art museums can also be reached on foot, along with a number of different metro and bus stops which travel throughout the capital. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the apartment itself is situated in a beautifully renovated traditional building, and offers a modern interior within a stylish and historical setting. The open-plan living and dining room is the highlight of the property, and features three traditional balcony windows with wooden shutters, all of which look out onto the street below. With plenty of seating and a dining table for five, the room is bright, spacious, and tastefully decorated throughout with artwork, furniture and lighting of the highest quality. The kitchen is brand new and comes fully equipped with everything guests may need during their stay, and includes a small breakfast bar which is perfect for informal meals. Distribution et équipements

Surface area: 100 m2. Ground floor. The entrance leads into a spacious living / dining area with 3 large French windows. This area is furnished with a 3-seater sofa, a single sofa, an elegant double seat with high arm-rests, a coffee table, side table, flat-screen TV, a dining table and a seating area for 5. Adjacent to the living room is the first double bedroom with a large window onto the living room and a sliding door for optimum privacy. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed (1.50m x 2.00m), 2 bedside tables with reading lamps, a dresser drawer, and a chair. To the left of the entrance is a doorway that leads to the kitchen and two more bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator / freezer, a 4-ring ceramic hob (stove), microwave, oven, dishwasher, and a built-in eating bar for 2. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed (1.50m x 2.00m), 2 bedside tables with light fixtures and a built-in wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 twin beds (0.90m x 2.00m), a bedside table and a built-in closet. There is also a second bathroom with shower and washer / dryer. There is wooden flooring in the living / dining room, first double bedroom and bathrooms. The two additional bedrooms have carpet flooring and the kitchen is tiled. Please note that the air conditioning is switched off from 00.00 to 09.00.

Conditions de réservation

We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit of € 250 upon arrival to the apartment. We will refund the deposit within seven days of your departure provided the apartment has not suffered any damage.
