General Description

This delightful, one-bedroom apartment is located on the fringes of one of Madrid's most historically-rich neighbourhoods. The area encompassing the Cortes district has become more recently known as 'Barrio de las Letras', thanks to its longstanding literary tradition. One of the legacies of this is found on the various streets in the area that are named after prestigious writers in Spanish history. Meanwhile, residents also gain the good fortune of being within walking distance of 'The Golden Triangle' – Madrid's globally-renowned art museums comprising the Prado, Reino Sofia and the Thyssen Bornemiza. And, while Cortes is a glimpse of Madrid's more traditional face, it still boasts several up-to-date transport connections to the rest of the city in the form of buses, trains and taxis. 

Veronica I is a home whose hearty design aesthetic is difficult to not be charmed by, with its harmonic fusion of contemporary, minimal chic with a touch of flair in the right places. This is evident from the moment you set foot in the open-plan living/dining room, which, on one side, features two french doors that open out to typical Madrileño balconettes overlooking the pretty street. Handpicked designer furnishings help to add color and accentuate the amplitude of natural light that the space enjoys. The kitchen, with its clean lines, is both spacious and modern in design and comes fitted and furnished with all of the necessary utilities and appliances.

Accommodation and Facilities

Surface Area: 65 m2. Third Floor.  Entrance hall leads into an open plan living / dining area furnished with a 3-seater sofa, a modern coffee table, a side table with an elegant lamp, a storage cabinet and TV unit with 32" LCD. The large wooden dining table can seat 6 guests. This area has two french balconies overlooking the street.  The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, oven, 4-ring ceramic hob (stove), microwave, dishwasher and washing machine / dryer.  The master bedroom consists of a double queen sized bed (1.50m x 2.00m), fitted wardrobe, two bedside tables and elegant lamps.  The bathroom has a walk-in shower.  Please note that there is wood flooring throughout the apartment.

Booking Conditions

We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit of 250€ before arrival to the apartment. The deposit will be returned in full seven days after departure, provided the apartment has not been damaged.
