Situated in the very heart of historical Madrid, this spacious duplex apartment combines a stylish and comfortable interior with a fantastic central location. The apartment is in Calle Santiago, and is an equal distance between the Plaza Mayor square and the Royal Palace. The Plaza Mayor is one of the capital’s top highlights, and the site of many of Madrid’s festivals and public gatherings. The elegant Royal Palace and Plaza de Oriente is just a short walk away, as is the little-known inner-city park the Campo del Moro – the perfect place to take a stroll during the weekend. Guests should head to the newly-refurbished Mercado de San Miguel for some of the city’s best food produce, while the nearby neighbourhood of La Latina is great for experiencing a traditional Spanish tapeo. The central hub the Puerta del Sol can be reached in under ten minutes on foot, along with great shopping and dining options. There are a number of different metro stops nearby, meaning guests can explore the rest of the city and beyond with ease. The apartment itself is bright and spacious, with original artwork and quality furnishings that give it a distinctive interior style. Divided into two floors, the first floor is occupied mostly by a comfortable living space, with an open-plan living and dining room that is only partially separated by exposed beams and a small wall. The large sofas face two traditional balconette windows that look out onto the city below and flood the room with light throughout the day. The kitchen comes fully-equipped with everything guests may need during their stay and has a small breakfast bar for more informal dining. A double bedroom with en-suite bathroom is also situated on this floor, as is a small guest toilet. The second floor is home to the stylish master bedroom, with its exposed beams, sloping ceilings and beautifully designed en-suite bathroom. Superbly located and stylishly decorated, this is a great base in the heart of the Spanish capital.

Please Note: The apartment is located in a pedestrian zone and in an area of Madrid with traffic restrictions and is only open to residents, public transport and our airport transfer service. 

Accommodation and Facilities

Surface Area: 156 m2. Fourth Floor. 2-Floor Duplex. Main Floor: Entrance leads into the hall. The living room is furnished with a 3-seater sofa, 2 matching armchairs, a square glass coffee table and a LCD TV and next to it are the stairs (please note do not have handrail) that lead to the top floor. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator / freezer, 4 ring ceramic hob (stove), oven and microwave. Next to it is a bathroom with walk-in shower. The dining area contains a round glass dining table for 6 people. The main floor also leads to the first bedroom, which consists of a double bed (queen sized 1.50 x 1.90m). There is a bathroom that has a walk in shower. Top floor: There is a master bedroom (king sized bed 1.80 x 2.00m) that has a reading area with a chaise longue and a study with a desk and chair. The bathroom has two wash basins, a walk-in shower and separate bath. Please note there is wooden flooring throughout the apartment except from the bathrooms and kitchen which are tiled.

Booking Conditions

We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit before arrival to the apartment. The deposit will be returned in full seven days after departure, provided the apartment has not been damaged.
