There are several excellent shops, restaurants and cafes nearby, meaning guests needn’t venture too far from home to find what they need. The apartment is located on the upper part of Calle Fuencarral, a wide, tree-lined street filled with shops, cinemas and small boutiques, and which fills up with outdoor cafes during the warmer months. The famous Puerta del Sol at the very heart of the capital can be reached on foot within twenty minutes, while several good transport connections mean guests can explore the rest of the city and beyond with ease. There is also a large international supermarket very near to the apartment building, so weekly trips to the grocery store can be done easily. The apartment itself is bright and modern, with a fantastic exterior terrace that looks out onto the street below. The living room is contemporary in design and opens out onto the small private terrace complete with seating area, perfect for enjoying an al-fresco meal or after-dinner drink while watching the city below. The compact kitchen is brand new and comes fully equipped with everything guests may need during their stay. The bedroom is comfortable and contemporary in style, and comes with ample storage and a modern en-suite bathroom. Guests have the added benefit of the apartment building services, which include a lovely rooftop swimming pool (available from mid june until mid september)and gymnasium. Surface Area 50m2 + 23m2 terrace. Sixth Floor. Entrance hallway leads on your left hand side to the living/dining area and in front to the kitchen. The living/dining area is furnished with a 2-seater sofa, coffee table, 2 small ottomans, TV unit with a LCD TV, DVD player and dining table for two. From there you access the terrace with exterior furniture, a 2-seater sofa and 2 armchairs with a table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator / freezer, a 2-ring ceramic hob (stove), oven/microwave, dishwasher and washing/drying machine. The master suite consists of a double (queen- sized 1.50m x 2.00m) bed, two bedside tables and a fitted wardrobe. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Please note that there is marble flooring throughout the apartment except bathroom and kitchen, which are tiled and the bedroom that has wooden floor. Please note that the air conditioning does only operate during summer months (from May 21st to September 21st).
