General Description

Chamberí – home to this wonderful, two bedroom roost for a group of up to four urban wanderers – is one of a handful of neighborhoods in the Spanish capital that still lives in the traditional Madrid way. Local markets and typical tapas restaurants, where groups of friends and relatives can convene and reminisce over wine and mediterranean bites, are still a big hit amongst indigenous Madrileños of the barrio. While the area increasingly attracts young, professional settlers, you will find folk from all walks of life here: families, senior citizens and students from Spain and the world over. Yet, despite this mingling of minds, Chamberí still carries the air of classic Madrid. Being a village-like neighborhood where shopkeepers tend to know you by name, it offers all the necessities and amenities of life and leisure in abundance, and its slight displacement from the city centre eliminates the majority of the hustlers and bustlers often associated with this part of the metropolis. Alonso Martinez, for example, boasts a cluster of fine restaurants, authentic tapas treats and even French teas shops. And while the area sits slightly to the north of the heart of the city, the latter is only a few minutes away thanks to great connections by metro, bus, taxi, and even on foot. Mindanao III is one of our cluster of exclusive suites within this refurbished, ultra-modern complex. As soon as you enter through the apartment's main hallway, you will find yourself right in the heart of the home, where the fittings and furnishings have been selected unit-by-unit and assembled tastefully and thoughtfully by our team. One corner of the lounge area is occupied by large, glass double doors, filling the room with light and transporting you instantly into the surrounding neighborhood beyond. There are plenty of corners in which inhabitants can get together: on the double sofa, chaise long or armchair set around the marble-topped coffee table; around the circumference of the aptly-sized dining table; at the breakfast bar of the fully-fitted, fully-stocked, modern kitchen. Meanwhile, both bedrooms will provide both comfort and lavishness when guests need to retire from their adventure and exploration of the city, thanks to large beds swathed in luxury linens. The master bedroom features secret-agent style access to its en-suite bathroom (where you'll find a walk-in shower) via one of the three doors of the built-in wardrobe. The second bathroom is just as lavish and, additionally, features a bathtub for a more considered soak. And if you are still in need of further TLC, take yourself to one of the two heated pools in the building (one indoor, one on the rooftop), or blow off some steam in the private gymnasium or sauna. Luxury and leisure will be the name of the game when you stay with us here.

Accommodation and Facilities

Total surface area 80m2. Eighth floor. Entrance hall leads directly into the open plan living/dining area furnished with a 3-seater sofa, a leather armchair, an elegant coffee table with marble surface, a colorful chaise longue with a small table next to it and a free-standing flat-screen LCD TV with a DVD player. The dining area has a comfortable round dining table for 4. The kitchen can be separated from the living area by a large sliding wooden door and is equipped with a fridge freezer, 4-ring ceramic hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed (queen-sized 1.50m x 2.00m), a floor to ceiling headboard and two bedside tables with elegant lamps. Entering to the master bedroom there is a large dressing room with ample built-in wardrobes. This wardrobe has three doors, one that leads directly to the bedroom, another into the modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and ample storage space under the sink. The second bedroom is furnished with another double bed (queen-sized 1.50 x 2.00m), two bedside tables with beautiful lamps and built-in wardrobes. The apartment’s second bathroom has a comfortable bathtub and is located directly across the hallway and is therefore ideal for guests. Please note that there is wood flooring throughout the apartment except for the bathroom, which are tiled.

Booking Conditions

We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit before arrival to the apartment. The deposit will be returned in full seven days after departure, provided the apartment has not been damaged.
