Located in the north of Madrid, just a short walk from the Duque de Pastraña metro station, this large and bright apartment is a great option for those looking for easy access to the business parks or universities situated to the north of the city. Both the ESADE Business School and the University of Madrid are within easy reach of the apartment, making this ideal for anyone needing to study. The area has great transport links, including the large transport hub Plaza de Castilla, and close proximity to the large ring road and Paseo de la Castellana which heads south into the city centre. The area immediately surrounding the apartment is residential in nature, with all necessary services and amenities close by. Situated on the first floor of modern building, the apartment itself is remarkably spacious and offers guests plenty of room for work, rest and play. The highlight of the property is the large open-plan living area. Stretching the length of the apartment, from the small terrace at one end to the dining room at the other, the space has been elegantly furnished and tastefully decorated in a discrete and classical style, with contemporary touches like artwork and designer lighting adding a modern twist. The private balcony features a table and chairs, and provides the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or after-dinner drink throughout the year.  The fully-equipped kitchen is accessed from the large entrance hall and includes a separate dining table - ideal for breakfast or more informal meals.  The master bedroom is large and stylish, and includes a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi and separate shower. The second bedroom has been decorated in a similar style and features twin beds and plenty of storage space. Traditionally used as service quarters, an additional room located just off the kitchen can be used as a third bedroom if desired, and would be ideal for children or guests.  Guests can also make use of the communal swimming pool in the grounds of the building.

Accommodation and Facilities

Surface Area: 185 m2 + 5 m2 of terrace. First floor: The entrance leads into a grand hall with ample built-in wardrobes and a WC for guests. Directly ahead is the spacious living / dining area and a separate door to the right of the entrance hall that leads into the kitchen. The elegant dining room is furnished with a grand wooden and steel table that seats 6, a modern hanging light fixture and a built-in tapestried bench. The living room has a 4-seater sofa, two reading chairs, two large coffee tables, a free standing lamp, and a long storage unit with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. Two large sliding window-doors lead onto a charming balcony with two outdoor armchairs, a table and greenery. The large modern kitchen is fully equipped with an American-style fridge / freezer, 4-ring ceramic stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, built-in coffee machine, microwave, and wine cooler. A door off the kitchen leads into a small semi-outdoor space for air-drying clothes and additional storage. There are two bedrooms: The master suite has a king-sized bed (1.80m x 2.00m), two bedside tables, two leather stools, a long side table that can be used as a thin desk. The hallway that connects the master bedroom to its en-suite bathroom is fitted with wall-to-wall built-in wardrobes. The en-suite bathroom has a deep Jacuzzi bath, separate walk-in shower with double shower heads, two sinks, and a WC with a door for privacy. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds (0.90m x 2.00m), a bedside table and built-in wardrobes. Please note that there is a third bedroom available off the kitchen and can be considered the service quarters. It is equipped with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is wood flooring throughout, except in the bathrooms and the kitchen, which are tiled.

Booking Conditions

We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit before arrival to the apartment. The deposit will be returned in full seven days after departure, provided the apartment has not been damaged.
