The neighbourhood is known for its lovely architecture, quirky boutiques, and traditional taverns and restaurants. In the quiet, cobbled streets of the Barrio de Las Letras, guests are just a stone’s throw from many of Madrid’s top sights and attractions.  The famous ‘Big Three’ art museums are all within walking distance, as is the beautiful inner-city Retiro Park. Also nearby is the central Puerta del Sol, which then leads further north to the lovely art deco Gran Via avenue.  A number of different metro and bus stations are within easy reach, meaning guests can explore the rest of the city and beyond with ease. Situated on the second floor of a traditional Madrid building, the exterior-facing apartment has been beautifully renovated into a practical yet stylish open-plan space. The large living area includes a sitting room with two traditional balconette windows that look out over the street below, and a small desk or study area that is ideal for students or those that need to work from home. The dining area leads directly onto the kitchen, which comes fully equipped with everything guests may need during their stay. Each of the two bedrooms has been decorated in keeping with the rest of the apartment, and feature built-in storage space. The entire apartment has been furnished to the very highest standard, with contemporary pieces, rustic style wooden flooring and a soft, soothing colour palette. Accommodation and Facilities

Surface area: 100m2. Second floor (no lift). The living room located at the end of the beautifully tiled hall has 2 French balconies looking out onto the street; it is furnished with a 3-seater sofa, 1 armchair with a tall industrial lamp on its side, 1 glass coffee table and a TV table with 2 decorative wooden boxes, flat screen TV and DVD player. There is a working area displayed in the living room with a writing desk and two side shelves. The open plan kitchen/dining area is separated from the living room by an exposed brick wall on the right side of the room.  It has a dining table with chairs for 4 people. It is equipped with a fridge / freezer, 4-ring ceramic hob (stove), oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine /dryer. Along the corridor, there are 2 bedrooms (with fitted wardrobes): the master bedroom consists of a double bed (king-sized bed 1.80m x 2.00m) with an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower; and a twin-bedroom (2 twin beds 0.90m x 2.00m). The second bathroom is in the corridor with a bathtub. Please note there is wooden flooring throughout the apartment except for the bathrooms, the hall and the kitchen, which are tiled.

Booking Conditions

We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit of € 150 upon arrival to the apartment. We will refund the deposit within seven days of your departure provided the apartment has not suffered any damage.
