The apartment itself sits within walking distance of one of the branches of the El Corte Inglés department store. Also a short hop away is the city's most celebrated patch of green space, Retiro Park: an absolute must-visit for fans of weekend strolls along a maze of broad and lengthy, leaf-strewn promenades, boat rides on lakes and beautifully constructed historic monuments. A wealth of bus and metro options in the immediate vicinity not only makes it easy to explore what Madrid has to offer beyond the neighborhood, but also encourages it. Housed within a renovated, traditional building with a grand entrance hall, this second floor exterior apartment is not only abundantly roomy but also well-lit, thanks to the combination of humble, hushed tones and the ample presence of windows and doors. In the living room, texture, homeliness and cosiness are delivered by the two large, four-seater sofas, the designer rug and the wallpaper in the sitting area, while illumination is provided by the French doors, which open out onto balconettes overlooking the neighborhood. The dining area, which features a large table and very comfortable seating for six, gives the illusion of a room much larger, thanks to the mirrored, wood fitting constructed along one wall. Jovial meals can also be enjoyed in the kitchen itself, courtesy of the American-style breakfast bar and stools found there. Naked, hanging bulbs in the vein of those often found in contemporary urban restaurants completes the bill. The master bedroom is bright and commodious during the daytime and cosy and comfortable at night thanks to a huge double bed draped in signature, high quality linens. Guests of the main suite also enjoy the luxury of the private en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and dressing area with ample, built-in wardrobe storage. Accommodation and Facilities

Surface area: 115 m2. Second floor. The entrance hall leads to the right into the kitchen and then into the spacious living / dining room furnished with two 3-seater sofas, a beautiful metal and mirror coffee table, TV unit with LCD TV and DVD and a glass dining table for six. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including fridge freezer, oven, microwave, 4-ring ceramic hob and dishwasher. There are three bedrooms in the apartment. The master suite consists of a double bedroom (queen-sized bed 1.80m x 2.00m) and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower; and 1 twin (trundle bed with 2 single beds 0.90m x 2.00m). The second bathroom has a walk-in shower as well. Please note there is wooden flooring throughout the apartment, except for the bathrooms and kitchen which are tiled.

Booking Conditions

We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit before arrival to the apartment. The deposit will be returned in full seven days after departure, provided the apartment has not been damaged.
