General Description

Local markets and typical tapas restaurants are still a big hit amongst indigenous Madrid residents of the barrio, and while the area increasingly attracts young, professional settlers, you will find fine folk from all walks of life here. Being a village-like neighborhood where the proprietors of local shops tend to know you by name, it offers all the necessities and amenities of life and leisure in abundance, while its slight displacement from the city centre eliminates the majority of the hustlers and bustlers often associated with this part of the metropolis. Nearby Alonso Martinez, for example, boasts a cluster of fine restaurants, authentic tapas treats and even French tea shops. And whilst the area sits slightly to the north of the heart of the city, the centre of Madrid is only a few minutes away thanks to great connections by metro (Iglesia is only a few minutes' walk away), as well as bus, taxi, and even on foot. Fernandez de la Hoz III is a home that, when dissected, instantly bleeds character and charisma. There is a very warm and coherent color palate that permeates the entire home, and which has been expertly accessorized with some intelligent interior fittings and details. The property's three bedrooms are all bright, roomy and come with plenty of built-in storage, as well as comfortable beds dressed in our obligatory premium linens. Two of the three bathrooms have walk-in showers, with the addition of a bathtub in one of them. This is a home for those seeking a cheerful, Chamberí base from which to enjoy their escapade to the Spanish capital.

Accommodation and Facilities

Surface area: 150 m2. First floor. The entrance leads into the spacious living / dining area that is elegantly furnished with a large 3-seater sofa, another smaller 2-seater sofa, a wooden coffee table and a free standing flat screen TV. The dinning area has a large wooden table for 5. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator / freezer, a 4-ring ceramic hob (stove), oven, microwave and has another table that can seat 4. This spacious apartment has three double bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen size double bed (1.50m x 2.00m), 2 bedside tables with lamps and has ample built-in wardrobes. The master en-suite bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two single beds (0.90m x 2.00m), two bedside tables with elegant lamps and ample storage space thanks to built in wardrobes. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom has a trundle bed (0.90m x 2.00m), a small working desk and built-in wardrobes. The apartments third bathroom also has a large bathtub and is located directly across from the third bedroom and is therefore also ideal for guests. There is wood flooring throughout the property, except in the bathrooms and the kitchen, which are tiled.

Booking Conditions

We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit before arrival to the apartment. The deposit will be returned in full seven days after departure, provided the apartment has not been damaged.
