General Description

With a convenient location right in the centre of Madrid – sandwiched between the metro stations of Chueca and Gran Vía – this wonderful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment is perfect for those who want to be in the thick of all the action. The residence sits in the sub-barrio of Chueca, an offshoot of the notoriously liberal, creative and Bohemian neighborhood of Justicia. The briefest of strolls through this labyrinth of bar-lined streets will reveal some of the best leisure and entertainment offerings the city holds – both by day and by night. And with Calle Fuencarral in one direction and the sweeping avenue that is Gran Vía in the other, guests are never far away from the capital's trendiest and most popular retail districts. Having said that, Barbieri III will offer its inhabitants more than sufficient respite from the thriving bustle of madrileño street life. When you enter the front door, you will find yourself almost immediately stood in the open-plan living area. To the left is the combined, fully equipped modern kitchen and dining area with plush seating for four around a rounded dining table. There is also further, more intimate dining space for two people at the mini-island in the kitchen. Oak trimmings such as the original beams and fresh, laminate floors have been combined with a minimal color scheme to produce an aesthetic that is humble, hushed, and yet still very homely. Additional, carefully-selected furnishings such as mirrors, rugs and contemporary lamps serve to further enhance this feeling of comfort, while there is plenty of space to be enjoyed in the home.  In the lounge, for example, there is plenty of space that can be used to socialize, relax, or take care of important tasks, whether on the designer-upholstered sofas or at the charming study desk topped with a vintage style lamp. Light streams into the space through the living room windows, aided by the reflection of the whitewashed walls. There are three sleeping chambers, which, from the entrance, are found to the right of the apartment, just past a wall of built-in storage. The master chamber features a large, double bed lined with luxury linens. It is flanked by two nightstands complete with reading lamps and backdropped by the retro-style wallpaper on one of its walls. This room also has a beautiful ensuite walk-in shower room with tiled floors and a heated rack upon which to hang your damp towels. The home's two other bedrooms are similar in size and embellishment and would be perfect for children or guests. One of these is fitted with a small desk in the corner, and both feature a slightly different take on the wood flooring found throughout the rest of the property. There is an additional bathroom for the inhabitants of these latter bedrooms, which also features a vast walk-in shower. For a family looking to experience the thrills of Madrid's metropolitan lifestyle from the outside in, this apartment will offer you all of that – and then some.

Surface Area: 150 m². Second floor. The spacious living room has a comfortable loveseat and two armchairs set around a sophisticated wooden table, as well as a plasma TV. Also boasts a space where a large table for six people is located. The modern, open kitchen features a high mini-island and is fully equipped. The master bedroom comes complete with a double bed (1.80m x 2.00m), a practical dressing area, a built-in closet and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a bed (1.60m x 2.00m), two bedside tables, a spacious wardrobe and a desk with reading lamp. The third bedroom has a bed (0.90m x 2.00m), bedside table and a large wardrobe. There is a second bathroom with a shower. The entire home has wooden floors except the bathrooms, which are tiled.

Booking Conditions

We ask our clients to pay a refundable security deposit before arrival to the apartment. The deposit will be returned in full seven days after departure, provided the apartment has not been damaged.
