GENERAL DESCRIPTION

La Tafona is a stunningly converted mill, on the outskirts of the village of Melegis, which offers a very special and unique holiday retreat. A great deal of thought has gone into its design in respect to comfort and use of space, which is immediately evident upon entering the property. The swimming pool is situated in the centre of the secluded courtyard and huge old doors lead into an open-plan living area, which contains massive olive jars, some of the old olive pressing machinery and an enormous circular granite table that can seat over 10 people. The decor is stylish and very striking so staying here feels a real treat. Families with small children should note that access to the pool is very easy! The village of Melegis is located in the Valley of Lecrin, midway between Granada and the coast, in the foothills of the Alpujarras. Within 30 minutes drive is the magnificent city of Granada, as well as the beaches of the Costa Tropical.

ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES

Two floors. Ground floor: entrance to main courtyard garden with pool. There is an open-plan living area with kitchen, large dining area, large living room with open fireplace and sunken seating for TV. There are two bedrooms: 1 double (double bed 1.40m x 2.00m) and 1 twin bedroom (2 single beds 0.8m x 1.90m). These bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and separate shower. First floor: A spiral staircase leads to a gallery. There are three bedrooms: 1 master bedroom (queen size 1.60m x 2.00m) with en suite bathroom, with bath and separate shower and terrace, 1 double (double bed 1.40m x 2.00m) and 1 twin bedroom (2 single beds 0.8m x 1.90m). The bedrooms share a bathroom with double shower. Grounds: Verandah, terrace and patio with outside shower and extra WC.
