GENERAL DESCRIPTION

A strikingly unusual property poised on the edge of a steep hillside overlooking the beautiful Cala San Vicente and close to the internationally-renowned Mallorcan tourist resort of Pollensa. Designed by a well-known Spanish architect and superbly furnished throughout in flamboyant contemporary style with lavish attention to detail and no expense spared, the house is built on four levels. Access is from the top level, where there is garage space for two cars. On the next level down is the spacious living room and separate dining area, with wall-to-ceiling windows affording spectacular views over the inlet and out to sea while at the same time allowing plenty of Mediterranean light to flood into the house to enhance the splendid interior decoration. Also on this floor are the large open-plan kitchen and guest bedroom and shower room. On the next floor down there are three double bedrooms (one interior), each with its own luxuriously-appointed bathroom. Below this again, and also accessible from the top by an external flight of stairs, is a separate guest house, with its own kitchen, small bar, living-room and separate dining area seating 8 people, plus a double bedroom with twin beds and en suite shower room. The property has several terraces and a patio-garden, all with comfortable and attractive designer furniture, in which to sit back and enjoy the stunning views over Cala San Vicente. The beach of Cala San Vicente, with its bars and small shops, is only 400 metres away, while the nearby town of Pollensa, renowned for its attractive harbour, promenade and spectacular scenery, and once patronised by, among others, Winston Churchill and Peter Ustinov, offers a comprehensive range of shops, fine restaurants and leisure activities.

ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES

Three floors and Guest house. Top floor: Entrance via the garage with space for two cars. To the left is a door that leads down stairs to the ground floor level. Ground floor: Large spacious living room with sea views. Contains a large double chaise-long, including a wall mounted plasma satellite television with DVD and CD player, 2 puffs from “Sacco”, wooden dining table that seats 8 on white “Phanton” chairs lit by a “Castiglioni” arch lamp (special edition). Floor to ceiling glass windows lead out to a terrace equipped with 3 chairs from “Moroso”. Open plan fully equipped modern kitchen with center island leads to guest shower-room and guest bedroom equipped with one bed (0.90m x 1.80m)and has direct access to the exterior. One level down: Center hall space leading to 3 spacious bedrooms with 3 bathroom and shared terrace. Room 1(2 single beds 1.00m x 2.00m) pushed together with large glass doors ensuring sea views and access to the lower level terrace, large en suite bathroom including cupboard, separate shower, bathtub and two separate washbasins. Room 2: Accessed through the en suite shower-room or the terrace with stunning sea views, contains two twin beds (0.80m x 1.90m). Cupboard, shower and separate toilet are en-suite. Room 3: Interior room with two twin beds (0.80m x 1.90) and cupboard in the room. Shower room and toilet is located right outside the room. The terrace contains a large movable double chaise long. Guest house: is accessed from the outside, reachable from the ground level or the top level down approximately 50 meters of stairs. The guest house is comprised of a living room with a dining area for 8 people and a seating area with 3 chairs to enjoy the sea views. Open kitchen with bar space, contains small fridge. Separate bedroom with two twin beds (0.80m x 1.90m) placed together. En suite shower room with toilet. Grounds: patio accessed from top level through an outer-door gate or through the living room. Contains white “Kartel” furniture designed by Phillip Stark and has and outdoor shower. Outdoor stairs leading up to the top level and down to the guest house.
