GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Away from noisy traffic and bustling crowds of holidaymakers, the peaceful singing of the birds in the trees encircling the house is the only sound to be heard in this delightfully secluded yet light and airy property. Located in the relatively unspoilt south-east corner of the island, far from the hectic overcrowded tourist resorts, it stands on the edge of the tiny village of Es Llombards, only 500m from the local supermarket and a pleasant little restaurant. A short 5km drive takes you to the picturesque coastal inlets of Cala Es Llombards and Cala Santanyi, among others. Tastefully yet simply decorated and comfortably furnished throughout and benefiting from day-long sunlight, this single-storey property has three double bedrooms, one of them a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There is a second shared bathroom with walk-in shower. The large living/dining-room with its open-plan kitchen and a dining-table seating up to ten people is ideally suited for family meals and entertaining. A number of generously-proportioned French windows make for ease of communication between the interior and exterior of the house. The extensive garden, edged with lush vegetation, features a large swimming-pool partly surrounded by teak decking, an ample supply of sun-loungers and beach umbrellas, and a well-shaded porch area equipped with all the necessary garden furniture for dining al fresco or relaxing over drinks. All the rooms are spacious and airy and look out over the garden and pool. Covered parking for two cars is also provided.
ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES
Ground floor: Entrance hall that leads to a large light rectangular living room with two two-seater sofas and two wicker chairs oposite a Satelite TV and DVD and a dining table that seats up to 10 people and three French doors leading out to the garden. The living room has an open plan kitchen with a center island and a fourth French door leading out to the porch and garden. There are three bedrooms: 1 master bedroom (king size 1.60m x 2.0m) with en suite bathroom (with walk in shower). The other two bedrooms are of identical size, both are twin bedrooms (2 single beds 0.90m x 1.90m) and share a bathroom with a large walk in shower. All bedrooms have built in cupboards and views of the garden. Grounds: The property has a private drive with a locked gate. The 20 meter drive leads to a roofed parking for two cars. A path from the parking leads to the house and the garden. In front of the house we have a 3 meter broad porch that gives shade to a dining table for 6. In the center of the garden is the large private swimming pool with a teak deck on one extreme for the sun beds (8 in total). Garden path on the one side of the swimming pool.
