GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Situated just yards from Madrid’s Puerta del Sol, this fourth floor, attic apartment belongs to Spain Select Carretas, an eight-apartment building available exclusively from Spain Select. These apartments provide an excellent location for corporate stays in Madrid, with first class communications available from Sol to all parts of the city (also, the Atocha train station) and plenty to see and do in the neighbourhood. Nearby is the popular Plaza de Santa Ana, around which there are cafes, bars and restaurants ranging from the traditional to the chicly modern. Austrian Madrid, with its stunning Plaza Mayor lies between the Puerta del Sol and the Royal Palace, the latter of which is approximately ten minutes walk away. On the other side of the Puerta del Sol is the extensive Preciados shopping district that includes an El Corte Inglés department store. Spain Select Carretas is a 19th century building on the outside – its original façade has been restored to good order, but has been fully reconstructed in its interior. As an attic apartment, 401 has an extremely high ceiling in its living room and exposed beams. This space is very bright, with a large window on one flank and a Velux window in the ceiling. There are further Velux windows in the low ceilings of the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen, and these offer wonderful views over the rooftops of the vicinity. The décor throughout has been selected by a professional interior designer, and is bright and modern.
