| Available only from Spain Select, Carretas 201 is one of eight luxury two bedroom apartments, located just off the Puerta del Sol. In less than 15 minutes walk of the Carretas apartments are many of Madrid’s most famous attractions, including the city’s famous Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral and Madrid’s three renowned art museums: the Prado, the Reina Sofia and the Thyssen-Bornemisza. The Puerta del Sol is a hub at the heart of the city. Its focal point is a famous clock whose bells mark the traditional eating of Twelve Grapes and the beginning of a new year. Adjacent, is the extensive shopping district of Preciados, which includes a large “El Corte Inglés” department store. In the evenings the area remains lively as there are many restaurants, cafés and bars in the vicinity. This includes the popular Plaza de Santa Ana, where there are many terraces for dining al fresco in the warmer months. The Puerta del Sol has excellent communications, and the train station of Atocha is within easy reach.
While maintaining its original façade, Spain Select Carretas is a completely reconstructed building. There are marble floors throughout which contrast to good effect with bold blue paintwork. The two bedrooms are situated in the interior of the building and are very quiet. The second bedroom has a single bed and spacious wardrobes. The rental price shown on the website applies for up to 2 people. For up to 3 people there is an additional charge of € 25 /day. |

Surface area: 70 m2. Second floor. The entrance hall leads into a large living / dining area with two balconies facing out the street. It is furnished with one 3-seater sofa, two armchairs, a wooden coffee table, a shelving with LCD TV, DVD and a wooden dining table for four. Along the corridor, there are two bedrooms (with fitted wardrobes): 1 double (queen-sized bed 1.60m x 1.90m) and 1 single (0.90m x 1.90m). There is a bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, oven, 4-ring ceramic hob, washing machine and a breakfast bar with two stools. There is an additional toilet (WC). There is marble flooring throughout except for the bathroom and kitchen, which are tiled.
