| Exclusive to Spain Select, Carretas 302 is one of eight luxury two bedroom apartments located just off Madrid’s Puerta del Sol. Spain Select Carretas offers visitors all of the city’s most important attractions within walking distance. Five minute’s walk away is the Plaza Mayor, the centrepiece of what is known as Austrian Madrid. A little further, are the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. In the opposite direction, at 10 to 15 minutes walk, are Madrid’s three renowned art museums: the Prado, the Reina Sofia and the Thyssen-Bornemisza. The Puerta del Sol is one of Madrid’s best known and liveliest centres. It contains a famous clock whose bells mark the traditional eating of the Twelve Grapes and the beginning of a new year. The extensive shopping district of Preciados, which includes an “El Corte Inglés” department store, adjoins it. The district remains popular in the evenings as there are many restaurants, cafés and bars, especially around the Plaza de Santa Ana, where there are many terraces for outdoor dining. As the geographic centre of the city, the Puerta del Sol has excellent metro and bus communications, and the Atocha train station is 15 minutes walk or three metro stops away.
Spain Select Carretas is to all effects a new building, yet it maintains a perfectly restored traditional façade. Carretas II is a bright two bedroom apartment that has been professionally decorated and beautifully furnished. It incorporates original artwork and the lamps are original design pieces. The living room has one balconied window which overlook the street below. Throughout, there are marble floors, which contrast with the use of bold burgundy paintwork and matching decorative elements to good effect. The two double bedrooms are situated in the interior of the building and are very quiet. The rental price shown on the website applies for up to 2 people. For up to 4 people there is an additional charge of € 25 /day. |

It is furnished with one 3-seater sofa, a wooden coffee table, a shelving with LCD TV, DVD and a wooden dining table for four. Along the corridor, there are two double bedrooms: 1 double (queen-sized bed 1.60m x 1.90m) and 1 twin (2 single beds 0.90m x 1.90m). There is a bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, oven, 4-ring ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine and a breakfast bar with two stools. There is an additional toilet (WC). There is marble flooring throughout except for the bathroom and kitchen, which are tiled.
