| Located on the third floor of Spain Select Carretas, this luxury two bedroom apartment offers visitors to Madrid a prime location from which to explore the city and further afield. Carretas 301 is one of eight luxury two bedroom apartments located just off the Puerta del Sol, Madrid’s emblematic centre and a thriving hub. Overlooking the square is a clock that marks the arrival of the New Year for the nation and the traditional eating of twelve grapes. Nearby are most of the city’s most popular attractions including Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral and Madrid’s three renowned art museums: the Prado, the Reina Sofia and the Thyssen-Bornemisza. Next the Plaza is one the city’s biggest shopping districts, which includes a vast “El Corte Inglés” department store. Also within walking distance is the popular Plaza de Santa Ana, where there are many terraces for dining al fresco in the warmer months. The Puerta del Sol has excellent communications, and the train station of Atocha is within easy reach.
Spain Select Carretas is a completely new building that has been constructed behind an original façade. The result is an offering of modern facilities but in a traditional architectural style. Each of the apartments in the building features professional decoration, high quality furnishings, and original artwork and elements of design. Carretas 301 benefits from two balconied windows overlooking the street below, making it a bright and attractive space. There are marble floors throughout which contrast to good effect with bold blue paintwork. Both bedrooms are situated in the interior of the building and are very quiet. The second bedroom has a single bed and ample wardrobe space.

It is furnished with one 3-seater sofa, two armchairs, a wooden coffee table, a shelving with LCD TV, DVD and a wooden dining table for four. Along the corridor, there are two bedrooms (with fitted wardrobes): 1 double (queen-sized bed 1.60m x 1.90m) and 1 single (0.90m x 1.90m). There is a bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, oven, 4-ring ceramic hob, washing machine and a breakfast bar with two stools. There is an additional toilet (WC). There is marble flooring throughout except for the bathroom and kitchen, which are tiled.
