GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Occupying an elevated position on a rocky shore with impressive unobstructed sea views, this extremely spacious architect-designed modern villa is only 8 km north of Tarragona (the ancient Roman city of Tarraco) and just one hour by car or train to Barcelona. It is located within a luxury residential development and surrounded by magnificent sandy beaches, one within short walking distance (a mere 200 metres). There are plenty of local restaurants within easy reach in which to sample the magnificent cuisine (and wines) for which Catalonia is justly renowned. The area, much of it a protected nature reserve, is famous for its Roman remains, Cistercian monasteries and vineyards. The villa offers luxury, designer-styled accommodation for up to nine guests on two floors, each having its own private master suite. A comfortably-furnished and tastefully-decorated living room with a separate dining area leads straight out on to the spacious ground-floor terrace well supplied with patio furniture. Full advantage can therefore be taken of the outdoor lifestyle characteristic of this part of Spain with its warm climate and long, sun-filled days. The well-tended Mediterranean-style garden includes an impressive infinity swimming pool, the edge of which recedes imperceptibly into the intense blue of the sea beyond. From the terrace and the garden around it the sound of the sea is clearly perceptible, and the views at every turn are a never-ending source of delight. The house is extremely well-furnished and equipped down to the very smallest detail, the stylish modern kitchen alone boasting three different types of coffee-making appliances. An ideal choice for an unforgettable Mediterranean holiday. No smoking allowed inside the house. Rate applied for a maximum of 6 people. 5% surcharge for each extra person to a maximum of 10 people.

ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES

Two floors: Ground floor: Stairs lead down to the entrance of the house and entrance hall. Straight ahead is a large open plan living room with two big comfortable sofas, one matching puff, ample wooden coffee table, and a gyrating wood-consuming open fireplace. White wall cabinet that contains the TV, DVD and CD players, hidden from view when not in use. Impressive view of the sea through large glass sliding doors, leading out to the paved pool area. Left side of the living area is the dining area with a table that seats six and extendable to seat up to 10 people. Passed the dining area is the open kitchen fully equipped with modern appliances including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, steam oven, grill and 3 ring ceramic gas hob (one specially designed for the use of a Wok). Direct access from the kitchen to the outer terrace for dinning al fresco and access to the pool. Left of the kitchen you have the laundry room fully equipped with washing machine and tumble drier. To the right of the living room we have the master bedroom with a double bed (1.50m x 1.90m), large built-in wardrobe and a en-suite shower-room with a walk in shower and two hand basins. The bedroom has sea views. Left of the hall we have one of the guest bedrooms with a sofa bed and adjoining guest bathroom. Ideal room for a nanny or teenagers. First floor: 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom (1.50m x 1.90m) with a sea view, built-in wardrobe and en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom for children (0.90m x 1.90m) both beds separated by two cupboards. Room 3 is a single room for one person (0.90m x 1.90m) with sea views. Both bedrooms share a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi separate toilet. In the center of the three bedrooms, we have a small living area with a futon sofa, stools and a small table and glass doors leading out to the upper terrace, ideal for sun worshipers. On the back side of the building we have a large office with working place for 2-3 people and Internet connection. Grounds: large paved area partially covered, equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining and seating area. Infinity L-shaped heated swimming pool (heating from April to October). Left of the swimming pool is a small playground (swings) shaded by pine trees on a slope.
