GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Located on one of Madrid’s most emblematic streets, the Calle Mayor, this comfortable two-bedroom apartment provides peaceful accommodation in the heart of Madrid’s historic centre. Recently renovated with classic style and abundant attention to detail, the property offers visitors easy access to many of the city’s most famed attractions. The Plaza Mayor, the Teatro Real and the Palace are all within walking distance, as is the charming turn of the 20th century market of San Miguel. The late 19th century building, which itself has also been refurbished to a high standard, is located in a restricted traffic area, and the apartment is interior. As a result, although adjoining the busy Puerta del Sol, visitors are not troubled by noise. The décor throughout is warm, with shades of brown combining cosily with wood laminate flooring. The living room has three balconies looking onto a tidy patio. The accommodation consists of a principal bedroom, with a queen-sized bed, and second bedroom with a single bed that may be extended to accommodate a fourth person. The rental price shown on the website applies for up to 2 people. For up to 4 people there is an additional charge of € 25 /day.

Surface area: 90 m2. Second floor (no lift). The entrance hall leads first into the kitchen and bathroom (with shower) on the left, and then straight ahead into an open dining / living area. This room, which looks out onto a patio, contains an armchair, a 3-seater sofa, a glass coffee table, a TV with DVD, and a dining table for 4 people. The kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, a 4-ring ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. It also has a dining table with several ”tabouret” chairs. The living room connects with the 2 bedrooms (with fitted wardrobes): 1 twin with 2 single beds (one beneath the other) and 1 double (queen-sized bed).
