GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This spacious villa, situated to the south west of the island of Mallorca near the town of Santa Ponsa, offers the visitor striking panoramic views over the Mediterranean and direct access to the sea at less than 100m. The house makes the most of this privileged location with many rooms oriented toward the sea. It has been constructed to a very high standard in timber, and its classic décor is enhanced by exposed beams, half-paneled walls and original artwork. Distributed over two floors around a central atrium, the accommodation comprises four ample double bedrooms – one bedroom downstairs and three upstairs – each with the added comfort of an en suite bathroom. The downstairs master bedroom and two of the upstairs bedrooms have terraces on which to relax and take in the sea view. Separate from the living room is a television room, complete with video and DVD library and broadband internet access. Barbeque equipment and outdoor furniture are provided, and al fresco dining may be enjoyed on the ample decked porch or beside the large private swimming pool. From the front of the villa, there is only a short walk down steps to the sea. Although there is no beach here, visitors can dive or make use of a ladder on the rocks, which provides an easy access to, and an exit from, the water. The town of Santa Ponsa offers many bars and restaurants as well as three golf courses, including the renowned Santa Ponsa Golf Club, within 15 minutes drive. There is boat hire and sailing available at Santa Ponsa’s Club Nautico. The property is very accessible, being only 20 minutes drive from the centre of Palma de Mallorca and 30 minutes from the airport. Rates applied for 8 people.

ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES

Two levels. Ground floor: The hallway of the villa opens into a room, serving as the living/dining area. The living area comprises one 3-seater sofa, one 2-seater sofa, an armchair, coffee table and fireplace, and the dining area has a large wooden table with seating for ten. It connects with a television room with a seating area containing one 3-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, Satellite TV and DVD. French doors along one wall open out onto the covered porch, which has an outdoor table (seating for eight) with views of the pool. The kitchen is equipped with a professional gas cooker, oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a utility room with washing machine, a tumble dryer and an additional toilet (WC). The master bedroom (twin beds pushed together 90.0m x 2.00 m) has a dressing room and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and access to the porch. There is also a double bedroom on the ground floor for maid service, which can be made available upon request, and a shower room. First Floor: Just beyond the front door, a flight of stairs ascends to the first floor where there are 3 double bedrooms (twin beds pushed together 90.0m x 2.00 m) each with dressing room and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and two washbasins. All bedrooms have sea views and a private terrace. There is also a library and a desk with PC and printer. Grounds: Lawn area surrounds the private salt-water swimming pool (10.00m x 4.00 m), and a terrace provides an excellent space for outdoor dining. There are also sun loungers, parasols and a barbecue.
