GENERAL DESCRIPTION

A well appointed villa, situated on top of a small mountain and commanding unrivalled views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding coastline of Almeria; an area of outstanding natural beauty, unspoilt beaches and quaint Andalucian fishing villages. Marble floors and wide arches contribute to the spacious feel of this property. Furnishings in soft white leather are complimented by glass tables to create a light and airy ambience. The ceiling high windows and doors flood the interior with natural sunlight and afford guests spectacular views from all rooms. The bedrooms are decorated in delicate pastel shades, tiled bathrooms enjoy vanity units with basins inlaid in marble surfaces. To the exterior, La Colina enjoys a wealth of terrace and patio areas ideal for dining, as well as a roof terrace complete with solarium. The stunning infinity pool is edged by well tended lawns on one side and a variety of trees and shrubs on the other. The properties positioning ensures complete privacy, and yet bars and restaurants situated on the shore below are only a few minutes away. The pretty Arabic villages of Mojacar and Bedar are in close proximity, their cobbled streets and historic plazas beautifully preserved and well worth visiting. A wide variety of activities are easily organised, hiking in the Cabo de Gata National Park, golf, horse riding and tennis to mention just a few.

ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES

Three floors. Ground floor: entrance accessed via a patio that leads to an open plan living / dining room with a glass corner window that overlooks the pool and the sea. There are two 3-seater sofas, a glass coffee table, a TV, a DVD and Music System; there is a round glass dining table for 8 situated beneath a large dome and access onto the outdoor terraces furnished with sofas and a second dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, electric ceramic hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a WC. The master bedroom (queen-sized bed 1.60m x 2.00m) with en suite bath containing bath and separate shower has a balcony overlooking the mountains and opens onto the terrace with sea views. Lower Floor: There are four bedrooms: 3 doubles and 1 twin room each decorated in a different style and open out to the lower garden area with views of the coast. All rooms are equipped with funs and hair dryer. There are two bathrooms, one with bath and the other containing bath and separate shower. There is a laundry room containing a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. There is a large garage for up to 3 cars and also available are a table tennis table, several bicycles, golf clubs and windsurfing boards. First Floor: It leads out onto the large roof terrace / solarium. Grounds: garden with an infinity pool and different terraces with outdoor furniture surround the house.
