The Balearic Islands consist of three main islands: Mallorca (Majorca),
Ibiza, Menorca (Minorca) and a few smaller islands. Lapped by the clear waters of
the Mediterranean and basked in sun for much of the year these are islands
of diversity. From villages balanced precariously over gorges to ancient
olive terraces leading down steep cliffs to pebble beaches. From pretty
fishing harbours to pine-edged sandy coves. The Balearics provide a
stunning setting for an authentic Spanish holiday. Mallorca is the largest
of the islands famed for its sandy beaches and its impressive mountains.
Menorca, the easternmost isle is the perfect contrast of beach and rugged
virgin landscape. Ibiza, a smaller island, with its innumerable rocky
coves, sandy beaches and pine-clad, hilly interior has a charm of its own.
All three island's capitals (Palma, Ibiza Town and Mahon) have medieval
quarters and many sites and monuments to visit. The villas we have for
rent in the Balearics have been chosen both for their very high standard
and for the beauty of their location.
