Spain Select visits Casa Decor 2012

At Spain Select, we understand that our top priority must be the quality of our product, and therefore we are always on the look-out for inspiration and new projects to undertake. Madrid Casa Décor, one of the most prestigious décor exhibitions in Europe this year celebrates its 20th birthday of course, we just couldn’t miss out!

This year, Casa Décor once again showcases the latest in trends and innovative ideas that will serve as design inspiration for our new projects. The event is being held in a spectacular French-style mansion that was once the headquarters of the Royal Company of Asturias miners of the late 19th Century and designed by renowned architect Manuel MartínezÁngel. The venue is located on the corner of c/Bailen and the Plaza de España

If you are at all interested in the creative world, we recommend visiting the exhibition. Everyone can find their own inspiration and draw their own ideas about the projects on display, but just to get you started, these are mine from my visit. The first floor was all about nature – almost like a jungle! It was all about wide open spaces, fresh elegance, texture, scents, exquisite material and gold-plating. The bathrooms made use of recycled and environmentally-friendly material, something that is gaining popularity in recent years.

Visit Casa Décor has been both enjoyable and a great source of inspiration for us to keep working on what we love the most – creating beautiful homes at Spain Select. The exhibition runs until the 24^th June, and we definitely recommend a visit. Celebrating their 20^th year, this time round the exhibition needed to be extra special, and it looks like they have succeeded. Congratulations!
